As a historian, I appreciate places that offer a glimpse into the past while providing modern comforts. Varlak Vendeghaz, nestled near the beautiful shores of Balaton lake, ticked all the boxes for me. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the delightful Margit and Gisele, who exuded warmth and knowledge about the area. the accommodation itself was impeccably clean, cozy, and equipped with everything I could ask for. Being in such close proximity to the beach was a definite plus. My few days spent in Siofok were truly memorable, and I am sincerely grateful for the experience.
